Fariz Ashurov is an Azerbaijani journalist, television host, media manager, and popular blogger. He was born in Baku in 1980 and graduated from the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics. He has worked for major Russian and Azerbaijani media organizations, including RBC, VGTRK, and Baku TV. He is the founder of JNews.az, Azerbaijan’s first Jewish news media portal. Through his professional and public activities, he promotes stronger friendship and cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel.
