The Ukrainian government announced that Russia launched a large-scale unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attack on the country's territory on the night of July 27.

According to official information, the Russian army used a total of 147 unmanned aerial vehicles during the attack. These included Iranian-made Shahed kamikaze drones, Gerbera and Italmas strike UAVs, as well as Parodiya decoy drones used to confuse air defense systems.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force, air defense units successfully destroyed 123 of the attacking UAVs.

At the same time, it was confirmed that 21 unmanned aerial vehicles reached their targets in 10 different areas, while the debris of the downed drones fell in 7 different locations. Clarification of the consequences of the strikes and possible destruction is ongoing.

The Ukrainian side also stated that the attack is not yet fully over. Some Russian unmanned aerial vehicles are still observed in Ukrainian airspace, and air defense forces are continuing operations to neutralize them.
