The Asian Development Bank (ADB) intends to support projects aimed at modernizing Azerbaijan’s railway infrastructure and improving transport connectivity.
Jnews.az reports that measures to be implemented in this direction are expected to serve to increase the efficiency of railway transport, improve freight transportation, and expand logistics capabilities.
The renewal of railway infrastructure may allow for more efficient organization of freight transportation in Azerbaijan and the optimization of logistics processes along transport corridors.
According to expectations, such projects will also contribute to strengthening Azerbaijan’s regional transit capabilities and increasing the country’s role in the international transport and logistics system.
