The Ukrainian army launched a drone attack on Russia's St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region overnight on July 24. During the attack, two logistics centers belonging to Wildberries, one of Russia's largest online retail platforms, were struck.

According to reports, a fire broke out at the warehouses, and operations at both logistics centers were temporarily suspended for safety reasons. Although Russian officials stated that air defense forces destroyed several drones, they confirmed that the attack caused damage to civilian infrastructure. Due to the incident, a number of flights were also delayed at Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg.

The Ukrainian side has not yet issued an official statement regarding the attack. However, Kyiv has previously alleged that some of Wildberries' logistics facilities were used to supply the Russian army. Moscow has rejected these claims, stating that the warehouses are civilian facilities.
