A traffic accident involving a Toyota car occurred at the 80.5-kilometer mark of the Baku–Gazakh highway.
Jnews.az reports that according to the Main State Traffic Police Department, the driver of the car, A. Jabbarov, fell asleep at the wheel and consequently lost control of the vehicle.
Officers from the Main State Traffic Police Department are working at the scene. All circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
Rovshan Taghiyev, department head of the Main State Traffic Police Department, stated that despite continuous warnings regarding the severe consequences of driving while sleep-deprived and fatigued, the recurrence of accidents occurring for the same reason causes serious concern.
