As a result of intensive air, drone, and artillery strikes by the Russian Armed Forces on Ukraine's Kherson region over the past 24 hours, 1 person has died and 20 others have been injured.
This was reported by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
According to him, over the past 24 hours, the city of Kherson, as well as Zelenevka, Stanislav, Shyroka Balka, Beryslav, Belozerka, Darivka, Antonivka, Sadove, Kizomys, Veletenske, Komyshany, and dozens of other settlements were subjected to aviation, drone, and artillery attacks by the Russian army.
The attacks caused significant damage to the region's critical and social infrastructure, as well as residential areas. As a result, 3 multi-story apartment buildings and 28 private houses were damaged.
In addition, a gas station, mobile communication towers, a shop, farm buildings, agricultural machinery, a minibus, a scooter, and several passenger cars were also damaged.
The regional head stated that, as part of security measures, 7 more people were evacuated from liberated settlements in the Kherson region to safer areas.
Local authorities have urged residents to heed air raid sirens and follow safety protocols.
