The Russian army launched airstrikes on the Ukrainian capital, Kyiv, with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles on the night of July 26. As a result of the attack, several fires broke out in the Shevchenkivskyi and Desnianskyi districts of the city, and civilian infrastructure was damaged.
According to the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, a warehouse caught fire in the Desnianskyi district, while 10 passenger cars and one truck were completely burned and destroyed in a parking lot. A fire also broke out in an unused four-story building in the Shevchenkivskyi district.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko stated that the debris of an unmanned aerial vehicle fell on an 18-story residential building, causing a fire on the 7th and 8th floors of the building.
According to preliminary official information, there were no casualties or injuries as a result of the attack.
