The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have announced that they successfully completed an operation in the village of Hadata, located in the security zone in southern Lebanon, seizing operational control of another Hezbollah stronghold.

According to a statement released by the IDF press service, more than 90 Hezbollah military facilities were destroyed and more than 20 of the group's fighters were neutralised during operations conducted in the region over the past month.

In the course of the operations, a large weapons and ammunition depot belonging to the group was also discovered in the area. More than 150 weapons were seized. The uncovered arsenal included grenade launchers, anti-tank guided missiles, machine guns, and AK-47 (Kalashnikov-type) assault rifles.

The Israeli Army stated that the primary objectives of the operations in southern Lebanon are to eliminate security threats in the border area, degrade Hezbollah's military infrastructure, and ensure the safety of communities in northern Israel.

It is worth noting that the Israeli army has intensified operations against Hezbollah positions in southern Lebanon in recent months and continues to implement measures aimed at limiting the group's military capabilities along the border line.
