Students studying at Jewish schools in the UK significantly exceeded national averages based on their GCSE exam results.

According to overall results, 22 percent of grades across the country were grade 7 and above, while 67.3 percent were 4 and above. In Jewish schools, these figures were higher.

Immanuel College demonstrated high results once again. Nearly 61 percent of exams taken at the school achieved grades in the 7–9 range. This figure is almost triple the national average. Nearly a quarter of grades were 9, and almost all students completed their exams with grades of 4 or higher.

Five pupils achieved grade 9 in seven or more subjects. Among them, Evie Lightman showed the highest result in 10 subjects.

“These successes reflect the determination of our students and the dedication of our teaching staff,” the school said.

Results also improved at the UK’s largest Jewish school, JFS. Namely, 55 percent of all grades were 7 and above. Last year, this figure was 53 percent. Headteacher David Moody particularly highlighted that numerous students achieved high results.

At The King David High School in Manchester, more than one in three students achieved grades of 7 or above across all subjects.

At The King David High School in Liverpool, 87 percent of students achieved at least a grade 4 in English and mathematics.

Partnerships for Jewish Schools (PaJeS) commended the results. The organization noted that these achievements were accomplished during an extremely challenging period for school leaders amid growing pressure and security concerns.
