Russian forces launched another missile strike on Ukraine's capital Kyiv during the night of July 8. The attack resulted in at least two people injured, with fires breaking out in several districts of the city and damage to civilian infrastructure.

According to Ukraine's State Emergency Service, the missile attack resulted in a strong fire at an administrative building and warehouse complex in the Svyatoshyn district. A fire also broke out at a non-residential facility in the Desnyansky district. Additionally, a building and a tram were damaged in another part of the capital. Rescuers and firefighters worked throughout the night at the incident sites.

Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that one of the injured was hospitalized. An air alert was declared in the city during the attack, and explosion sounds were heard across various districts of the capital.
