On August 25, a working meeting was held in the city of Lachin between energy sector representatives of Azerbaijan and Armenia.
Jnews.az reports that the information was released by the Cabinet of Ministers.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Energy and "Azerenerji" OJSC, alongside Armenia's Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure and the "Electric Power System Operator" company.
The parties discussed possibilities for electricity imports and exports between Azerbaijan and Armenia. They also reviewed options for interconnecting the energy infrastructure of both countries at the state border for this purpose.
