Haciqabul, July 12 – A road traffic accident involving a passenger bus occurred in Haciqabul district.
According to the Main State Road Police Department, the accident occurred on July 12 at 05:15 on the Baku–Qazax–Georgia state border highway at the 132-kilometer mark passing through Mugan settlement in Haciqabul district.
A Yutong-brand bus driven by Ramil Bilal oglu Alqishov went out of control, first struck concrete barriers on the left side of the road, and then overturned.
As a result of the incident, 28 injured individuals (12 men, 7 women, and 9 minors) were admitted to the emergency departments of the Hajigabul and Shirvan Central City Hospitals starting from around 6:00 a.m. on July 12.
An investigation into the incident is underway.
