As part of a new energy project, plans are underway to lay subsea power cables that will link the energy systems of the three countries. The transmission line will run from the island of Crete to Cyprus, and will then be extended to Israel.
The total length of the cable route will be approximately 1,200 kilometers. The project aims to establish cross-border energy infrastructure between Israel, Cyprus, and Greece.
