Hyrdalan, July 13 — New buses set to be deployed soon on route 135 connecting Hyrdalan to central Baku cannot access Baku Engineering University direction. The reason is the poor condition of the road infrastructure in that area.
The carrier company «Khaliq Faiq-oglu,» which provided clarification on the issue, stated that deep potholes on Hasan Aliyev Street in Hyrdalan, in the area locals call «120 Road,» pose a serious danger to the movement of modern Iveco-brand buses. Company officials noted that the problem has existed for many years and despite multiple appeals to relevant authorities, the road has not been repaired.
Currently, older vehicles manage to operate in that direction with difficulty, but the entry of new and modern buses onto that road is considered technically impossible.
The carrier company, expressing concern about the situation, apologized to Baku Engineering University students and residents living in the area, emphasizing that the problem stems not from their operations but from the deteriorated condition of the road.
