Sanaa, July 13 — A member of the Houthi «Ansar Allah» movement’s Political Bureau, al-Afsad, stated that the aircraft carrying the Houthi delegation landed at Sanaa airport despite strikes carried out by Saudi Arabia.
He wrote on his «X» account: «The aircraft landed safely, the delegation arrived, and the blockade was broken by force.»
At the same time, the Armed Forces of Yemen’s internationally recognised government — which opposes the Houthis — declared their readiness to respond to Iran’s and the Houthis’ violation of Yemeni airspace.
The escalation followed the internationally recognised Yemeni government’s ban on Iran from operating a flight from Tehran to Sanaa, which was intended to return the Houthi delegation to the capital.
