Russia, July 14 — The second season of the Tikun Lab social innovation competition, organized by the Russian Jewish Congress, has concluded. Selected projects received a total of 3.8 million rubles in grant support. The competition attracted 24 teams from Russia, Belarus, Israel, and Turkey, with 8 teams advancing to the final round.
Winner: application for children with autism
First place went to the Autism SkillForge application, designed to develop skills in children with autism spectrum disorder and make the learning process more effective. The judging panel awarded this project the highest score, resulting in the team receiving 1.3 million rubles in grants.
Second and third place
Second place was awarded to the Repo.ai platform, which enables users to research family history, build family trees, and search archives. This project received 700,000 rubles in grant funding. Third place went to the Dom Byta service, which provides assistance to elderly people with daily household tasks; this project received 500,000 rubles.
Additional funded projects
In addition, four other social initiatives were awarded grants of 300,000 rubles each. These projects include a charity platform, a home care service for the elderly, an educational initiative, and a platform that supports emotional development through music.
The organizers of the project define the purpose of Tikun Lab as supporting innovative ideas aimed at solving social problems, creating conditions for the implementation of new initiatives, and promoting the implementation of projects that benefit society.
