During the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round, Qarabag will face Vestri (Iceland) on July 9 at the Tofiq Bahramov Republican Stadium. Metro operations will be adjusted accordingly.
According to official information from Baku Metro JSC, in accordance with the operational plan related to the large-scale event, the Genclik station located near the stadium will operate in enhanced mode. Additional control mechanisms will be implemented at the station to ensure fan comfort and safe transportation. Auxiliary staff will be engaged on a shift basis.
Special attention will be paid to managing passenger flow at the station, and preventive measures will also be taken at Narimanov and May 28 stations.
According to the statement on train movement, during the day trains will operate according to the summer schedule on weekdays. After the match ends, train movement will be regulated in a special manner, taking into account passenger flow and the operating mode of Genclik station. If necessary, reserve trains will be deployed on the line.
