Shusha, July 13 — The opening ceremony of the Fourth Baku Global Media Forum on «The Mission of Media in Promoting Peace: Restoring Truth and Rebuilding Trust» has taken place.
The event, led by the participation of President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, is at the center of attention of the international media community.
The scale of the forum once again demonstrates its global significance:
- Participants: Nearly 160 media representatives, prominent experts and official figures from 53 countries.
- Representation: Around 30 international news agencies and more than 60 leading media organizations.
Within the framework of the event, extensive discussions will be held on important issues such as the role of media in the peace process, the dissemination of facts and the restoration of international trust.
