Twenty roundtables dedicated to Azerbaijan’s religious diversity were held at the US Congress. The event highlighted Azerbaijan’s interfaith harmony model and drew international attention to the exemplary religious environment in the country.
Rabbi Zamir Isayev, head of the Baku Sephardic Jewish Community, who spoke at the roundtables, emphasized that it was a great honor to be represented at this platform.
He noted that he came to the US Congress together with Rasim Khalilzade, chairman of the Azerbaijan Bible Society and head of the «Vineyard» Protestant community, to participate in the event.
Zamir Isayev: I thank Rasim Khalilzade. Our joint participation in this event is a vivid example of interfaith respect, friendship and unity that has been formed in Azerbaijan over centuries.
Zamir Isayev emphasized that Azerbaijan’s interfaith harmony model holds significant importance for peace and reconciliation in the world.
