Armenia's government plans to approve an agreement on the TRIPP project, which envisions a transport corridor through Armenian territory connecting Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan.
According to available information, after government approval, the document will be sent to Armenia's Constitutional Court. If the court confirms that the agreement complies with the country's constitution, the document will be submitted to parliament for ratification.
The TRIPP project framework envisages the creation of a transport route connecting Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan through Armenian territory. The project includes the construction of roads and railways, as well as gas and oil pipelines, power transmission lines, and internet infrastructure.
The project's main objective is viewed as restoring transport links between Azerbaijan and Armenia, opening regional communications, and expanding economic cooperation in the South Caucasus.
