The National Hydrometeorological Service has issued a yellow alert due to windy weather conditions expected across the country.
According to the agency, the alert covers Baku and the Absheron Peninsula, as well as the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and numerous districts of the country.
According to the forecast, northwest wind speeds of 13.9–20.7 m/s are expected in Quba, Qusar, Khachmaz, Shabran, Siyazan, Khizi, Shirvan, Qobustan, Hajigabul, Imishli, Saatly, Sabirabad, Neftchala, Salyan, Lankaran, Masally, Astara, Lerik, Yardymli, Jalilabad, Bilasuvar, Kelbajjar, Lachin, Mingachevir, Dashkasan, Goranboy, Naftalan, Balakan, Zaqatala, Qakh, Shaki and Oghuz districts.
The National Hydrometeorological Service recommends that the public take into account windy weather conditions and comply with safety regulations.
