Russia's Ministry of Defence announced that over the past day, Russian air defence forces neutralized a large number of unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the official statement released, 734 fixed-wing drones and 12 guided aerial bombs belonging to Ukraine were intercepted and destroyed in the airspace.
In connection with these events, Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin also clarified the situation. He stated that over the past 24 hours, 84 drones belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine were successfully targeted and shot down by Russian defence systems as they attempted to approach the capital.
Mayor Sobyanin added that as a result of these incidents, no damage or casualties were recorded on the territory of Moscow.
