Police Scotland has confirmed the launch of an investigation after the office of logistics company DB Schenker, located in the Hillington area of Glasgow, was vandalised. The incident is linked to the firm's alleged business ties with Israel.
The target of the pro-Palestinian activists was DB Schenker, part of the DSV group. According to the group's claims, the firm provides logistics services to Israeli defence company Elbit Systems.
Early on Tuesday, August 4, activists bypassed security systems and entered the building. Protesters smashed windows, covered the foyer and offices in paint, and left graffiti on the walls calling for ties with the Israeli enterprise to be severed.
An investigation into the matter is currently ongoing. Representatives for DSV have not yet commented on the situation.
