Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office has firmly rejected reports of alleged assassination plans targeting Iran's senior officials, calling them completely fabricated.

In an official statement, Netanyahu's office dismissed claims published by The Washington Post regarding alleged plots to eliminate Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqir Qalibaf as "entirely fabricated" and "unreliable information."

Earlier, The Washington Post reported that the White House had intervened urgently to prevent alleged Israeli operations against Iranian officials, citing concerns about disrupting diplomatic contacts. According to the publication, the report concerned possible assassination plans against Araghchi and Qalibaf, who are considered Iran's key negotiating representatives.
