At the Balkan Athletics Championship held in Greece, Israeli athletes demonstrated strong performances, winning several medals in various disciplines.
Shani Zakai, who took second place in the 800-meter race, and the men's 4×100-meter relay team contributed silver medals to the national team's tally.
Bronze medalists included Omri Shiff in the 400-meter hurdles and Yarden Mantel, who achieved the third-best result in pole vaulting.
Several Israeli athletes narrowly missed the podium. Estelle Valeanu finished fourth in discus throw, Karavan Halabi Kablan in the 1500-meter race, and Zemenu Muchie in the 3000-meter steeplechase.
Additionally, Oron Karnivsky finished fifth in the 110-meter hurdles, and Menachem Mendel Chen took tenth place in the shot put competition.
