India's Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to Azerbaijan Abhay Kumar visited the Mountain Jews Museum during his trip to Quba district.
During the visit, the head of the diplomatic mission was provided with detailed information about the museum's history of establishment, its extensive activities, and the rich exhibits displayed there.
At the same time, the ambassador was briefed on the ancient history and unique culture of the Mountain Jews settled in Azerbaijan, as well as the exemplary traditions of tolerance and multiculturalism that have existed in our country for centuries.
Continuing his acquaintance with Red Qasaba, Abhay Kumar also visited local historical synagogues. The ambassador was provided with detailed information about the history, religious and cultural significance of these places of worship, as well as their role for the Jewish community of the town.
