Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, described the agreement reached with Lebanon as a "historic and important" achievement.
According to "The Times of Israel", Zamir stated that this diplomatic breakthrough was made possible by the military successes of the army in recent months. He emphasized that military victories created the groundwork for the political leadership to pursue a diplomatic agreement.
The Lieutenant General also noted that the Israeli army will maintain its current security advantage and is fully prepared to continue its operations if necessary.
According to Zamir, the military maintains a high state of combat readiness on all fronts to ensure the country's security.
