Azericard Processing Center has issued an official statement regarding the problems faced by some customers with their bank card accounts on June 24.
According to the center's explanation, the problem arose due to technical redundancies that occurred during the processing of interbank settlement documents. The institution noted that the malfunction was not dependent on Azericard.
It is reported that work is currently underway to cancel the repeated transactions, and card accounts are being restored in stages.
The issue will be fully resolved in the near future.
