Baku, July 14 – The international cultural and educational festival Limmud 2026, dedicated to Jewish culture, education and public dialogue, was held in Baku.
The event brought together hundreds of participants from Azerbaijan, Israel and other countries. The festival featured lectures, panel discussions, master classes, intellectual games and cultural programs.
Limmud is recognized as an international Jewish education and culture platform held in various countries around the world. The movement’s primary goal is to promote knowledge exchange, open dialogue and cooperation within the community by bringing together people of different ages and professions. This tradition has been continued in Azerbaijan for several years.
The festival program covered topics such as psychology, leadership, marketing, personal development, history, culture, public speaking, communication and contemporary technologies. Throughout the day, rabbis, scholars, experts, public servants and representatives of international organizations from various countries delivered presentations and shared knowledge and experience with participants.
During master classes organized as part of the event, participants gained practical skills in leadership, creativity, personal development and public communication. Panel discussions extensively addressed topics such as contemporary society’s challenges, Jewish heritage, education, family values and intercommunal cooperation.
The festival also featured a rich program for children. Young participants took part in robotics workshops, participated in creativity workshops and demonstrated their skills in various intellectual and entertaining games. These programs were specially designed for children to both learn and spend their leisure time productively.
One of the memorable highlights of Limmud 2026 was the music program. Performances by Israeli singer Vladi Blayberg and the Gaga Band brought festive spirits to festival participants.
The festival also played an important role as a platform for people from different countries to meet, exchange ideas and establish new professional relationships. Participants noted that such events contribute to strengthening mutual understanding between different cultures and expanding international cooperation.
The event was also assessed as another example of Azerbaijan’s multiculturalism and tolerance policy. The festival, which brought together representatives of different religions and nationalities, once again demonstrated that mutual respect and peace prevail in the country and that Azerbaijan successfully hosts international humanitarian and cultural events.
It should be noted that Limmud Baku 2026 was presented by organizers as a platform that brings together people, ideas and inspiration. The program included relevant lectures, unique master classes, intellectual games and a rich cultural program.
