The National Hydrometeorological Service has warned of a sharp deterioration in weather conditions across a number of mountainous and foothill regions of Azerbaijan from July 14 through the end of the week. According to the forecast, rainy weather will continue intermittently in these areas.
Risk of torrential rain, hail and lightning
According to the Service's data, rainfall in some areas may take on a torrential character. Additionally, the possibility of lightning strikes and hail cannot be ruled out. Residents, particularly those in mountainous regions, and tourists are advised to exercise caution.
