US President Donald Trump stated that Washington is closely monitoring Iran's underground Pickaxe Mountain nuclear complex and is ready to strike the facility if negotiations with Tehran fail.
In an interview with Fox News, Trump said that the US constantly monitors Iran's nuclear activities.
Donald Trump: "We have the best surveillance systems in the world. I know exactly what is happening at Pickaxe Mountain. This is not a big problem for us. We destroyed their nuclear facilities, and if an agreement is not reached, we will have to destroy Pickaxe Mountain too. We will do this very easily. In general, if an agreement is not reached, we will leave 91 million people without electricity and bridges."
According to Trump, the US continues to carefully monitor the situation regarding Iran's nuclear program and does not rule out a military option if diplomatic negotiations prove unsuccessful.
