Israel's Ministry of Defense reported that the organizers of the Eurosatory arms exhibition in Paris have closed off access to the pavilions of Israeli defense companies with shields. The reasons for this decision were not given.
This was done despite the fact that we agreed to comply with the outrageous demand of the French government and present only defensive weapons at the exhibition. The cynical discrimination is not surprising; its purpose is to prevent Israeli technologies, whose level is confirmed daily throughout the Middle East, from being exhibited.
Earlier, on June 1, France announced a ban on the participation of representatives of the Israeli government in the exhibition. In addition, Israeli defense companies were allowed to display exclusively air defense systems, excluding any offensive weaponry.
Israel became the only country against which such restrictions were imposed.
