Moscow's "Buki Vedi" publishing house has released a book titled "Jewish Jokes from Doctor Mikhail Shneiderman, with Drawings by Vladislav Tsap." The book includes over 130 illustrations.
The author of these works is the renowned artist Vladislav Abramovich Tsap from Birobidzhan. He is a member of the Russian Artists' Union, an honorary academician of the Russian Academy of Arts, and an honorary citizen of the Jewish Autonomous Region.
The artist has been participating in various exhibitions for over 40 years and has decorated more than 60 books with his illustrations.
Vladislav Tsap stated that his works were included in the book by chance. At the end of March, he received a call from the Russian Academy of Arts. It was reported that the well-known doctor Mikhail Shneiderman was interested in his work. The artist sent photos of his works to the doctor, and as a result, this book was prepared.
Mikhail Shneiderman is a Candidate of Medical Sciences and an obstetrician-gynecologist. He is the author of several innovations in medicine and has written numerous scientific articles and books.
Doctor Shneiderman also loves humor. He believes that laughter is beneficial for human health. The famous writer Sholem Aleichem also said that laughing is good for health.
Shneiderman expressed it this way: "I was born into a family of very intelligent, honest parents who loved humor. Surely, my love for humor led me to prepare this collection of jokes."
It should be noted that this is not Mikhail Shneiderman's first such book. Previously, his books have also featured drawings by Vladimir Lyubarov, Alexander Shabanov, and Zurab Martiashvili.
