A new consignment of cargo has been dispatched from the Russian Federation to Armenia via Azerbaijani territory. On June 28, a train carrying 770 tons of wheat departed from Bilajari station towards Böyük Kəsik.
This 11-wagon train is part of a series of shipments using Azerbaijan as a transit corridor. To date, more than 34,000 tons of grain, approximately 8,000 tons of fertilizer, 133 tons of aluminum, 68 tons of buckwheat, and 414 tons of anthracite have been transported from Russia to Armenia via Azerbaijan.
In addition to transit shipments, Azerbaijan itself exports products to Armenia. So far, over 14,000 tons of diesel fuel and nearly 5,000 tons of AI-92 and AI-95 gasoline have been sold to Armenia.
