The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has clarified that no special combat readiness regime has been announced in the military.
According to information released by the IDF, there are currently no changes in the activities of the armed forces and service continues as usual. It has been stated that the current situation does not require a transition to a special emergency preparedness regime.
The IDF emphasized that Israel, taking into account the existing threat from Iran over many years, operates in a constant state of high readiness, and under current circumstances, no additional measures are needed.
This clarification comes at a time when tensions in the region have increased following strikes the United States has carried out against a number of military targets in Iran.
Meanwhile, Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has announced that it has struck U.S. military bases in the Middle East with missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. Tehran stated that these attacks were in response to previous U.S. military operations and indicated that operations could continue if necessary.
The United States, for its part, has stated that strikes against military targets in Iran were carried out with the aim of ensuring the safety of international shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. According to the Pentagon, during air operations carried out over the past day, a total of 80 military facilities were destroyed, including air defense systems, military naval bases, missile complexes, and warehouses where unmanned aerial vehicles are stored.
