A delegation representing Azerbaijan's innovation ecosystem has successfully concluded its business trip to Israel. The visit aimed to expand Azerbaijan-Israel cooperation in innovation, technology, entrepreneurship, agriculture, healthcare, and sustainable development.
As part of the program, the delegation visited leading Israeli innovation and research centers, including the ALYN Innovation Center, Netafim, "DeserTech", the Shimon Peres Center for Peace and Innovation, the Volcani Institute, and "Takwin" company. During the meetings, innovative solutions, the application of technologies, and future cooperation prospects were discussed.
The delegation also participated in the international exhibition "MUNI EXPO 2026", where they familiarized themselves with the latest technological innovations presented in the fields of smart cities, artificial intelligence, digital transformation, cybersecurity, water resource management, and sustainable urban development.
During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of Israeli government agencies, leaders of technology companies, investors, and representatives of the startup ecosystem. Opportunities for technology transfer, development of innovation initiatives, support for entrepreneurship, and implementation of joint projects between the two countries were discussed.
Additionally, the delegation became closely acquainted with the historical and cultural heritage of Jerusalem.
The visit is expected to contribute to further strengthening the partnership between Azerbaijan and Israel in the fields of innovation and high technologies, as well as to the formation of new cooperation opportunities.
