Rescue operations are ongoing in Venezuela following two powerful earthquakes that struck last week.
According to a high-ranking Venezuelan legislator, the death toll from the natural disaster has reached at least 1450 people. The South American country was shaken by two consecutive tremors measuring 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude.
