The Georgian government has appointed a new ambassador to its diplomatic mission in Israel.
According to information released by the Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Beka Dvali has been appointed as the country's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Israel.
Prior to this appointment, Beka Dvali served as Georgia's Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Australia since 2022. Before that, from 2012 to 2022, he headed Georgia's diplomatic mission in the Republic of South Africa.
The experienced diplomat has also held positions as Georgia's Envoy Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Great Britain and as a chief advisor at its embassy in the USA in various years.
