In the first half of 2026, 1,926 antisemitic incidents were registered in the United Kingdom. According to the semi-annual report by the Community Security Trust (CST), this figure represents the second-highest total for any six-month period since records began.
A record number of such incidents was recorded in the first half of 2024, with 2,109 cases. By comparison, 1,598 episodes were identified during the same period in 2025, while 965 incidents were recorded in the first half of 2023, prior to the Hamas attack on Israel.
«Community Security Trust»: These figures serve as further confirmation that since October 7, 2023, the level of antisemitic incidents has stabilized over the long term at a much higher baseline than was reported prior to the Hamas terrorist attack on Israel.
Of the 1,926 incidents recorded this year, approximately 41% (787 cases) involved anti-Jewish rhetoric in the context of references to Israel, Palestine, the Hamas attacks, and the subsequent war. The proportion of physical assaults rose from 4% in the first half of 2025 to 7% (136 cases). Major incidents included an arson attack on a synagogue in Finchley on April 15 and the burning of four ambulances belonging to the Jewish rescue service Hatzolah in Golders Green in March.
