Israel’s national air carrier El Al has announced a significant expansion of its flight schedule on Asian routes. According to the Cursor publication, to meet high demand, the airline has launched additional direct flights between Tel Aviv and Tokyo for September and October 2026.
Additional departures from Ben Gurion Airport to the Japanese capital are scheduled for September 28 and 30, as well as October 5, 12, 13, 17, 19, 21, 24, and October 26–28. Return flights from Tokyo’s Narita Airport to Tel Aviv are scheduled for October 6–7, 13, 20, 22, and October 27–29.
Tickets for the new dates are already on sale on the airline’s official website. One-way fares start at 868 US dollars.
Special Fares on European Routes
In addition, El Al offered passengers tickets at reduced prices for popular tourist routes during the post-holiday period. The discounted destinations include Cyprus, Greece, and Romania.
Flights from Israel to Cyprus and back in October or November will cost from 129 dollars. When booked separately, one-way ticket prices start at 57 dollars, and return flights start at 72 dollars. Direct flights to Bucharest (Romania) in November are available from 180 dollars round-trip, while flights to the Greek island of Rhodes start at 184 dollars.
The specified price includes personal item and carry-on baggage. The air carrier warns that fares are dynamic and may change during the booking process depending on demand and seat availability.
