The administration of US President Donald Trump is preparing to launch a large-scale campaign aimed at combating antisemitism across 15 cities in the country.
This was reported by Leo Terrell, head of the task force on combating antisemitism and an official at the US Department of Justice (DOJ).
According to him, under the initiative, federal agencies will use all available legal and administrative mechanisms to protect Jewish communities. During the campaign, possible instances of inaction by local authorities on safety issues will also be identified and made public.
Terrell stated that one of the main goals of the program is to inform Jewish communities about their legal rights. He added that if necessary, the Department of Justice will also consider filing appropriate lawsuits.
According to reports, preparation issues related to the implementation of the nationwide program were discussed at a specialized conference held in the summer of 2026. At that event, Leo Terrell presented the key directions of the government’s strategy to combat antisemitism.
