Donald Trump responded on his 'Truth Social' account to Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei's claims that the United States had allegedly sought talks with Iran out of desperation.

Trump stated that it is not the US but an exhausted Iran that is seeking talks. According to him, Iran's financial situation is extremely dire and they do not even have "10 cents" to their name.

It was Iran, not us, who met out of desperation. They are broke. We will test the 60-day deadline. They have no money, not even 10 cents.

It should be recalled that Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei had previously claimed that the United States was forced to enter into talks with Iran out of weakness. Trump rejected this statement, emphasizing that the situation is exactly the opposite.
