Neftchi Professional Football Club has signed a new contract with head coach Yuri Vernydub. According to information released by the club's press service, the existing agreement with the Ukrainian specialist has been extended until the summer of 2028.
The contract signing ceremony was held with the participation of Hafiz Zeynalov, Chairman of Neftchi's Supervisory Board, and Cenk Sümer, Chief Executive Officer.
Hafiz Zeynalov expressed full support for the head coach on behalf of the Supervisory Board:
May this be beneficial for our club. The Supervisory Board has great confidence that Neftchi will be successful in both the national championship, cup matches, and the UEFA Conference League. We believe in the professionalism, competence, and the team that head coach Yuri Vernydub is building, and we support him in this endeavor.
In turn, Cenk Sümer expressed his certainty that they will achieve great success together in the future:
