Israel's Foreign Minister Gideon Saar and Colombia's new Foreign Minister Omar Bula Escobar have agreed to fully restore diplomatic and economic relations between the two countries.
According to the agreement, both sides will mutually reappoint ambassadors and remove visa restrictions. Additionally, Colombia plans to open an embassy in Jerusalem.
The agreement is seen as marking a new chapter in Israel-Colombia relations, which have been tense over the past two years.
