President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a series of decrees regarding personnel changes in diplomatic missions abroad.
According to the documents, Zaur Rashid oglu Ahmadov was recalled from the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Kingdom of Sweden. Previously, he concurrently served as ambassador to the Kingdom of Denmark, the Republic of Finland, and the Kingdom of Norway.
By another decree of the head of state, Elnur Ikhtiyar oglu Sultanov was relieved of his position as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Latvia. Instead, he was appointed as the new head of Azerbaijan’s diplomatic mission in Sweden.
Narmina Elsever gizi Mustafayeva has been appointed as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Latvia.
