Following a terrorist attack in Israel, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is preparing for a large-scale security operation in the Judea and Samaria region.
According to the IDF, security measures in the region have been strengthened following the incident. In this context, military leaves have been temporarily suspended, and the troop grouping in Judea and Samaria has been reinforced with additional forces.
The IDF stated that during operations conducted last night, wanted individuals suspected of inciting terrorist activity and participating in terrorist acts were detained. During the operations, suspects were interrogated, and various weapons and ammunition were discovered and confiscated.
Over the past week, more than 80 wanted individuals have been detained in the Judea and Samaria region. Among them are those inciting terrorism, members of the Hamas movement, individuals suspected of throwing stones and Molotov cocktails, as well as terrorists involved in the preparation and use of explosive devices.
The IDF noted that operations are planned to continue in the coming days to ensure security in the region and prevent the threat of terrorism.
