The chairmanship of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC PU) has officially passed to Azerbaijan. The transfer of powers took place within the framework of the opening ceremony of the 20th Session of the Parliamentary Union Conference of the organization.
The Speaker of the Milli Majlis (National Assembly), Sahiba Gafarova, will hold this position. With this, Azerbaijan has taken over the chairmanship of the organization from Indonesia.
