Law enforcement agencies have been mobilized following attacks on two synagogues in New York City.

The incidents are being investigated as hate crimes.

It is reported that during the incidents on July 16, filth and motor oil were poured onto the synagogue buildings.

According to information provided by New York State Assembly member Rozic, the attacks have caused serious concern within the city's Jewish community.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) confirmed that a suspect threw a package filled with motor oil at the facade of an Orthodox synagogue located in the Queens borough.

The investigation into the incident is being conducted by the New York Police Department's specialized Hate Crimes Task Force.

A number of similar incidents targeting the Jewish community have been recorded in New York in recent months. These include an individual entering a Chabad synagogue in Brooklyn with a knife and a baseball bat, the prevention of a reported terror plot against Jews, and a vehicle crashing into the building of the Chabad headquarters synagogue.

Officials stated that all details of the incidents are being investigated and that measures are being taken to identify those responsible and hold them accountable before the law.
