The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced that Mohammed Mushtaha, a company commander of the Hamas Shati battalion, was eliminated in an airstrike carried out in the northern Gaza Strip.
According to the IDF, high-precision munitions and aerial surveillance were used during the operation to prevent civilian casualties.
The Israeli side stated that the eliminated Hamas commander participated in the attack against Israel on October 7, 2023. It is also claimed that he was involved in holding several hostages throughout the war.
