The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) has appealed to the public regarding the expected change in weather conditions and called on citizens to be cautious.
According to information from the National Hydrometeorology Service, unstable weather conditions are expected to continue until August 17 in a number of regions of the country. Unfavorable meteorological phenomena are forecast to occur in some areas during this period.
Recommendations from MES to citizens
The Ministry recommended strictly observing safety rules during strong winds.
- not to stand near trees and lightweight structures;
- to stay away from billboards;
- to be cautious in areas at risk of flash floods and flooding;
- not to go outside unless necessary during periods of severe weather deterioration
is recommended.
The MES reminded that in the event of an emergency, it is necessary to immediately call the «112» hotline.
